Turbofan Engine System Simulator (TESS)

In previous research we have developed several prototype gas turbine simulators, such as the Java Gas Turbine Simulator, an interactive, graphical, numerical gas turbine simulator designed for use in instructing graduate and undergraduate students in the operation of gas turbine systems. A similar version of the gas turbine analysis software, which was developed using the Application Visualization System (AVS) software, is the Turbofan Engine System Simulator (TESS) system, an interactive graphical turbofan engine simulation system.
