10 Hour- Employee Occupational Safety and Health Program

This program is designed to provide employees with the essential knowledge needed to create a safe work environment for themselves and those around them. Employees often lack safety and health knowledge which leads to hazardous behaviors and workplace injuries. By providing employees with this essential knowledge, employers can reduce the likelihood of work-related injuries.

This program introduces employees to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and their role in workplace safety, hazard awareness, fall protection, hazard controls, personal protective equipment (PPE), and emergency action plans (EAPs). Additionally, employees will learn about hazard communications, flammable and combustible liquids, walking and working surfaces, preventing workplace violence, and the essentials of a workplace safety and health program. Rounding out the training, employees will learn how to protect themselves from work-related exposure to bloodborne pathogens.

This is an excellent course employers can use to introduce employees to the fundamentals of occupational safety and health.

This program is similar, but not equivalent to the OSHA 10-hour construction/general industry courses. This program and it’s required courses are educational products that upon completion will not result in issuance of an Outreach card associated with the U.S. Department of Labor. You will receive an OSHAcademy 10-hour Employee Occupational Safety and Health certificate and card.
